Most examples of AI you hear about rely heavily on deep learning and natural language processing (NLP). Using these technologies, computers can be trained to perform specific tasks by processing large amounts of data and recognizing patterns in the data.

A.Ι. (TN) is expected to play a decisive role as a technology of the future. Some artificial intelligence technologies have made their appearance for more than 50 years. However, the evolution of computers, the availability of innumerable data, and new algorithms have allowed the rapid development of Α.Ι., which is the EU’s priority.

Smartphones use artificial intelligence to provide optimized and personalized settings to their users. The virtual assistant acts as a personal secretary of the user: answers questions provides recommendations and reminds meetings.

Automatic translation and subtitling software, based on either written or oral, use artificial intelligence to provide and improve translations.

Smart houses, cities, and infrastructure
Smart thermostats analyze our behavior to store energy, while smart cities are based on intelligent traffic regulation systems to improve connectivity and reduce congestion.
